History
1939 Dai Nippon Zoki Research Institute founded in Ikuno-ku, Osaka.
1942 Head office/factory relocated to Hirano-ku, Osaka.
1949 Nippon Zoki Allergy Research Institute for the study and diagnosis of allergic diseases founded.
1954 Mr. Jin-emon Konishi joined management as an advisor.
1960 General sales agent agreement with Shionogi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. amicably terminated and independent sales started.
1961 Company name changed to Nippon Zoki Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
1964 Company consultant, Mr. Jin-emon Konishi, appointed as President of Nippon Zoki Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
1965 Business tie-up agreements signed with Biobasal (Switzerland) and Promedica (France).
1970 The 1st French –Japanese Meeting on Allergology held at Paris University (subsequently held alternately in Japan and France every three years).
1971 Aeropur Japan Co., Ltd. established to manufacture and sell the Aeropur® anti-air pollution control system.
1976 Neurotropin® Special 3cc released.
1980 1st Chinese-Japanese Meeting on Immunology and Allergology held in Beijing and Shanghai, China.
1982 China-Japan Immunology and Hematology Research Center jointly established in Shanghai by the Chinese Ministry of Public Health and Nippon Zoki Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., with the aim of promoting exchange in basic medicine and personnel training.
1983 Institute of Bio-Active Science (IBAS) completed.

Konishi Foundation for International Exchange founded under charter by the Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs; President Jin-emon Konishi appointed President of the foundation.
1984 President Konishi awarded the Legion d'Honneur by the French President for significant achievements in medical exchange between Japan and France.
1985 1st.U.S.S.R.-Bulgaria-Japan Meeting on Physiology of Emotion held in the International Conference Hall at the Institute of Bio-Active Science.

President Konishi received the Foreign Minister's Award.

1st French-Japanese-Chinese Meeting on Immunology and Allergology (including the 6th French-Japanese Meeting on Allergology and the 5th Chinese-Japanese Meeting on Immunology and Allergology) held in Beijing and Shanghai, China.

Institute of Bio-Active Science received the "Green Architectural Prize" as part of the Hyogo Prefecture Overall Parks and Greening Concept.
1986 Ono Ryokuen Factory completed.

Vigilante group founded.
1987 1st Chinese-Japanese Shanghai Medical Seminar held.
1988 Neurotropin® Tablet released.

7th French-Japanese Meeting on Allergology (20th Anniversary Commemorative Meeting) held in France.

President Konishi received the Health and Welfare Minister's Award.
1989 President Konishi received the Clements Von Pirquet Award from the University of California, Davis.
1993 President Konishi decorated with the "China Health Medal," the highest award given by the Chinese government for contribution to China's health affairs.

Beijing Konishi Health Food Co., Ltd. founded.
1994 Beijing Liaison Office opened.

Shanghai Konishi Biological Technology Co., Ltd. founded.

Importation of Neurotropin® Tablet into China authorized.

Importation of Neurotropin® Ampule into China authorized.
1995 President Konishi awarded “Officer de l'Ordre des Arts et des Letters” by the French government.
1996 Technology Research Laboratory completed.

Beijing Fanhua East Medical Technology Co., Ltd. founded.

Shanghai Liaison Office opened.
1999 President Konishi conferred the title of "Emissary of China-Japan Peace and Friendship Association”.

Konishi-MUSC Institute for Inflammation Research completed.
2001 Mastigen®-S Drink iron supplement released.

Zetbulin® inj. released.
