It is of vital importance that the efficacy, safety, and quality of bulk drugs established in the R&D stage are maintained in pharmaceutical preparations. To obtain a stable quality in the formulation of bio-active substances, in particular, is generally very difficult. At Nippon Zoki, we established an independent department (Technical Headquarters) to address this issue and are tireless in our efforts to develop drug formulation technology. We are also investigating ways of improving drug efficacy and safety by increasing or decreasing the rate of release of drugs and by improving the delivery of drugs to target organs using pharmaceutics technology.

In addition to conducting pharmaceutical studies, Nippon Zoki Technology Research Laboratory is engaged in the development of innovative pharmaceutical technology with the aim of offering the hospitals and clinics effective high-value-added drugs through extraction, verification of efficacy, and synthesis of effective materials.
